The Second Monastic Phase
  c. 1320 - c. 1500

This phase has not been excavted.  It is assumed that following the events of the  about 1320 (The Great famine , the Scotish Wars and the battle of Byland, 14th October 1322), new furnaces were built utilising more powerful waterpower on the River Seph at the Grange and at Laskill.
